About Me
I'm Erin - creator of Film Start Scotland and workshop lead.
My film making journey began with studying for a degree in Film & Media and Environmental Science at the University of Stirling. Since then, I have worked and volunteered for a number of charities, facilitating workshops and working with a diverse range of groups.
While studying for my Master's Degree in Adult Education, Community Development, and Youth Work, I ran film making workshops for my dedicated project on placement with Neighbourhood Networks. You can see the films we created and others that I've worked on under the 'Projects' tab.
My workshops are designed to be interactive, hands-on, and inspiring.
I craft welcoming, thoughtful, and creative spaces. In these spaces, I facilitate activities that connect, exploring the stories and issues which matter the most to us. As a group, we realise shared visions through the unique medium of film.
Film Start Scotland is more than just a workshop—it is a platform for personal growth, creative expression, and community building. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where each participant's voice is heard and valued.
